WAVENEY CARE LTD. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  • Waveney Care Ltd provides staff under contract for services. The staff is deemed to be under the direction, supervision and control of the client throughout the complete duration of the assignment.
     
  • The client must comply with all statutes, bye-laws and legal requirements to which the client is ordinarily subject in respect of the clients own staff.
     
  • The Client must provide a safe working environment for Carers, this may be achieved in partnership with Social Services following a health and safety risk assessment.
     
  • Waveney Care Ltd will be responsible for payment of wages to carers also the deduction and payment of all statutory contributions in respect of Earnings Related Insurance and the administration of Schedule E (PAYE) Income Tax applicable as required by law.
     
  • Waveney Care Ltd wishes to give satisfaction to the client by ensuring reasonable standards of skill, integrity, confidentiality and reliability from Staff Members and aim to provide them in accordance with booking details. No liability (by reason of the human element) will be accepted by Waveney Care Ltd for any loss, expenses, damage or delay due to any failure to provide any particular Staff Member for all or part of the period of the booking.
     
  • The client / social services will be charged for work undertaken by the employee of Waveney Care Ltd.
     
  • Waveney Care Ltd will supply regular appropriately skilled carers, due to holidays, sickness and study leave other appropriately skilled carers will be employed.
     
  • Waveney Care Ltd will supply gloves & aprons as required.
     
  • The Client together with Waveney Care Ltd will have their needs reassessed as often as deemed necessary by agreement of both the Client and Waveney Care Ltd.
     
  • If a carer fails to report for duty please inform Waveney Care Ltd immediately.
     
  • We do not charge VAT.
     
  • Employers National Insurance is included in our rates.
     
  • Any changes in charges or terms & conditions will be notified to you by Waveney Care Ltd in writing.
     
  • All payments must be made to Waveney Care Ltd directly not to carers.
     
  • If you decide to directly employ a member of Waveney Care Ltd within 6 months of their placement by Waveney Care Ltd there will be an introductory fee of £1000.
     
  • Each carer must complete and sign a care evaluation sheet, as proof of visit and care given when a carer is to work a full shift with the client there must be an area available for carers to take a meal break and rest. If it is a sleep duty there must be facilities for the carer to sleep.
     
  • Payment is 7 days from date on the invoice.
     
  • Clients may have access to any records held regarding them held by Waveney Care Ltd.
     
  • We require 24 hrs notice if you wish to cancel or amend a booked service otherwise the full fee will be payable. (Except where unforeseen admission to hospital has occurred.)
     
  • We aim to provide a quality service throughout the community and are equal opportunity employers.
